Indus GT

The Indus GT is a high-quality external 5.25-inch floppy disk drive released by Indus Systems in 1983. It is considered one of the best third-party floppy disk drives for home computers of the era, earning it the nickname "the Ferrari of floppy disk drives". The device features a stylish black case with a smoked protective cover that conceals the floppy disk slot. The display features a 7-segment LED indicator on the front panel that displays the current track number and error codes.

Supports double-density recording modes. It includes an embedded operating system and can be expanded to 64 KB of RAM to run CP/M. It operates significantly quieter and faster than standard floppy disk drives of the time.

In 1987, the rights to the GT drive were sold to Logical Design Works, which later manufactured it under the names LDW Super 2000 and CA-2001. The company itself ceased operations in the late 1980s.
