Trackmo is a type of demo in which all visual effects are rigidly tied to a single musical track (track) and replace each other automatically, creating a complete audiovisual show. This format replaced megademo and became the "gold standard" of the modern demo scene.

The main differences between trackmo are synchronization, continuity, directing, and data streaming (loading from a floppy disk in real time).
