IMAGIC is very inexpensive SHAREWARE. Please show your support for
future development of software for the Atari by REGISTERING today.
The Atari community is small, help keep it alive!
IMAGIC is a multi-format disk image converter for Atari 8-bit
disk images.
IMAGIC can read and write any of the following formats:
ATR - APE / SIO2PC / Emulator Disk Image
DCM - Disk Communicator Compressed Disk Image
XFD - PC Xformer disk image
SCP - SpartaDOS SCOPY Compressed Disk Image
IMAGIC can convert from any format, directly to any other format just
by specifying the source filename, and desired target image type.
Program usage.
USAGE: IMAGIC [/A | /D | /X | /S] [SOURCE_FILESPEC] [DESTINATION_PATH]
/A = Target is ATR format
/D = Target is DCM format
/X = Target is XFD format
/S = Target is SCP format
SOURCE_FILESPEC can be an file, or set of files using wildcards, to
be converted to the target image type.
DESTINATION_PATH is optional. You may use it to specify a seperate
location for the new images. If you do not specify a target directory,
the current directory will be used.
Thanks to Ernest Schreurs for his work on the Disk Communicator disk
format, for correcting much of the original incorrect information,
for sharing his work, and for keeping the Atari alive with all his
hard work on other important projects.
Thanks to Jason Duerstock for providing some inital information on
the Disk Communicator format.
